2Gig panel says Schlage lock isn't capable of remote unlocking

I purchased a Schlage deadbolt, Model BE469 (manufacture date 1/15/15).

The 2 Gig panel recognizes the lock, and can sense lock status (locked or unlocked), but the panel says that this particular lock is not capable of remote locking or unlocking.

Also, when I attempt to “Enroll” the lock into the 2Gig network, it generates an error message (failed to enroll).

Also, the lock is recognized by ADC, but ADC can’t control it.

I do’t know any reason that this lock shouldn’t be compatible with remote locking/unlocking, both via the panel, as well as ADC.

Any suggestions? Maybe a firmware update? I haven’t updated the firmware in the panel since I bought it a couple years ago.

2GIG did not support the Schlage BE496 lock until firmware version 1.10. You have 2GIG firmware 1.9.5 so it’s not going to work. You should upgrade to 2GIG firmware 1.12. Do you have a firmware update cable? If not, you can get one here:

Yes and yes. The 4-pin connector it comes with is for the TS1.

Remote panel? Do you mean a secondary TS1?

You will need the 4 pin adapter. Usually the cable comes with it
