I’m realizing (a bit late) that this pad isn’t supported by IQ4 345. I still need a secondary device that can arm/disarm/call police & fire.
Can someone help me understand the difference between these two devices:
The IQ Remote PowerG (IQR-PG) connects via Wi-Fi or PowerG. This is the latest IQ Remote from Qolsys and is only compatible with the IQ Panel 4 series of panels.
All other IQ Remotes, like the 9104-840, connect via Wi-Fi only and have been discontinued. Only the 9104-840 works with the IQ Panel 4, all older models are incompatible.
The biggest difference between the two, besides production status, is that the IQR-PG can communicate via PowerG.
