I currently have the “Qolsys IQ Panel 2+ (2GIG & Honeywell 345MHz)” panel. Given it’s an IQ Panel, it seems that it can use either the 2GIG Carbon Monoxide detectors or IQ Carbon Monoxide detector. Is this in fact the case? If so, is one better than the other for some reason?
If you have the 345Mhz version of the panel, you will need either a PowerG or a 345Mhz CO detector.
The IQ Carbon is a 319.5 and would not be compatible.
The 2GIG model would be compatible.
