2Gig mini door sensor too weak?

Have a business system that is 2Gig panel.

One of the doors has an almost 1/2” gap, and DW10 door sensor stays open with that distance.

Any ideas on how to get around this? Are there other, stronger, sensors that work with 2Gig that support a larger gap?

The 2GIG-DW10-345 Manual specs show a .85 inch maximum distance. You could try to adjust or relocate sensor to better fit your needs.

If you have the wire leads for the DW10 sensor, you could use an external sensor wired into it. You could use something like this Seco-Larm SM-216Q or Seco-Larm SM-4601-L3Q

You could also use a 2GIG-DW30-345 outdoor sensor which has a larger gap but the sensor is bigger. The manual shows it has a 1.25 inch gap.
