2GIG GC3 Screen Life (Black Screen)

Hi All-

Owner of a 2GIG GC3, and experienced a screen blackout that required a power cycle.

Does anyone have insight in to the expected life of a GC3 screen (or MTBF in engineering terminology)?

Is a “black screen” equivalent to a Windows Blue Screen of Death; so even if you recover, that you should consider yourself to be living on borrowed time?

It hasn’t really been reported often enough that I have any data to support it, but subjectively it does seem that if you notice this issue it is likely to recur.

The big issue is that a lot of the time we don’t see additional follow up reports, which may mean it has never occurred again for that user, or they power cycle it each time it does happen and just don’t reach out.
