I have a 2gig GC2 with firmware 1.23 and I tried leaning in a Kwikset 620 Smart Z-wave plus lock, the panel is about 3 feet from the door, The panels recognizes the lock and it asks for the s2 sdk code so I enter the code on the lock it tries to complete the process but I get inclusion failed any recomemendations on how to get the lock learned in
That is interesting. Can you try removing it first even though it is not on the system. This should clear anything on the lock itself. Then reboot the panel by unplugging the transformer and the battery. Wait about 90 seconds then connect the battery first followed by the transformer.
After that has been performed, try adding the lock back into the panel

yes I tried that does the GC2 support Zwave plus security protocols?
Do you have an older original GC2 or the newer GC2e panel? If you are unsure please post a photo of the panel and we can identify.
The GC2e supports Z-wave plus and S2, the original 2GIG GC2 does not.
