I’m looking to get a 2GIG quick start kit. Do i need something else to “adapt” to my current alarm system? It’s about 15 years old and says Napco MC1000 on the panel.
Determine whether you have wired or wireless sensors. For Napco wireless, Resolution Products has the RE224NH, which will translate wireless Napco signals into Honeywell signals compatible with your 2GIG panel.
If your sensors are wired, you’ll need a 2GIG Super Switch Takeover Module
The above will allow you to use up to 8 hardwired zones (non-life safety, so smokes or carbons that are wired will not work,) with your 2GIG panel.
