2Gig and cell phone signal jammer

Hello,
I tried searching on these forums and did not get any hits.
The main reason I purchased 2Gig cell tower based security system many years back is that if someone cuts the phone line, the distress signal will still be delivered to the monitoring station.
Recently, I was switching my home insurance provider and was asking my insurance broker about possible discounts, including the cell based security system. He advised me that cell phone signal jammers are so readily accessible now ($300) that advantage of having a cell tower based security system is not that crucial any more.
Please let me know your thoughts on how to “protect” my house from the use of jamming technology of if there is anything I am missing on this topic.
Thanks

Well, cell jammers do exist, but the common attack vector is still just brute force.

The best way to cover yourself though is to use a dual path communication method. 2GIG GC2 panels have the Go!Bridge (not compatible with the GC2e). GC3 panels have built in wifi, as does IQ Panel 2+.

Signals are sent concurrently via both cell and broadband.
