Hi Surety Team,
I saw another post saying 24/7 audio has to be added to the account for it to be available in recording rules. Is there a cost for this? If no cost, can you please enable this for my account?
Hi Surety Team,

Its included with complete but may not be available as an option select in System Manager. Looks like you are using an SVR? I have enabled Continuous Audio Recording for SVR Video at this time.
Thanks Tyler!
Is there any setup I have to do on my end as I am not getting audio when reviewing footage from the SVR on the website or app. Is it only when reviewing from the SVR directly?
It needs to be selected within the Local recording rules. There is an Audio recording section when editing the rule which lets you specify if that stream will have audio recorded.
Alarm.com > Video > Recording Rules > Local Recordings.
If you do not see the option you may need to create a new rule.
Hey Jason!
I’m still not seeing those options on the app or site even after deleting and recreating the rules. Please see that attached pictures. Any advice?
Apologies, I should have specified. The instructions are for it to be configured on the Alarm.com website at this time, not the app.
Ah, I see the issue. The feature is limited to the newer CSVRs at this time. The CSVR126 is not compatible based on documentation. It looks like you are using a CSVR126, correct? Compatible models called out in docs are below:
well dang that sucks. Oh well. THe 126 is still going strong so no reason to replace it just yet. Thank you for looking into this for me. One kind of related question, is the new thrid party camera feature also limited to those models as well?
Third Party Cameras feature requires one of the same CSVRs listed as compatible with audio above, it does not list support for the CSVR126, and it is also only available on more expensive commercial video plans which are not sold through Surety at this time.
