Yep, it is an unfortunate and abrupt decision from Google.

Google Discontinues Google Home/Assistant Voice Support

Google is ending support of conversational actions for Google Home and Google Assistant users on June 13, 2023. This change ends Alarm.com’s support of voice commands for home automation actions using the Google Assistant feature and Google Home device. Alternatively, you can use Apple Siri or Amazon Alexa for voice control of your Alarm.com smart home.
