Crossing a Geofence can impact many aspects of rules depending on how you set them up.
- You can use it to override thermostat settings when leaving home
- You can generate arming reminders based on leaving or entering Geofence locations
- You can filter activity notifications based on mobile devices having left or not having left a Geofence.
- You can automate lighting devices based on crossing Geofence locations.
It cannot be used to initiate security-based rules. You cannot disarm your system automatically by crossing a fence, or unlock a door, etc.
