Vista 20p added DT8050v wired motion, now keypad shows fault when setting AWAY

I did buy a 5800Wave wireless siren that I planned to mount somewhere on the first floor but am debating whether to mount it in the garage (front of house) or semi-hidden elsewhere on the first floor. I thought about hiding it in a return air vent since the alarm would easily broadcast near the front door, all the first floor vents and into the garage where the furnace is, but since it has a backup battery built in, this seems like it would be a bad idea.

Do you know what kind of wireless receiver you have on your panel? Is it an RF keypad? These wireless siren need an RF Keypad or a 5883H Bi-Directional receiver to function correctly. The 5881 RF receiver doesn’t meet the requirements.
I believe with this siren, you do need to have it plugged into an outlet.

Do I need to do any special programming for these motion sensors and are the current zones correct?

Wireless zones can only be programmed in zones 9-48 on the vista20p.
The only thing different should be the loop number depending on what you are needing if you have pets

I’ve read that there is a sleep delay on these wireless motion sensors. How do I test if they are working correctly in AWAY mode?

The motion does have a walk test mode. This activated the LED light for about 10 minutes after installation to test the sensitivity and location.

I bought a Honeywell 5800SMOKEV and planned to program it to Zone 09. Is this the correct Zone Type?

Yes it can work on zone 9. Any wireless zone can only be enrolled in zones 9-48.

I have a 6160RF keypad, actually two of them, but I disabled RF on the second keypad

Yes zone type 9 is for fire which is correct for the 5800SMOKEV
