Unable to run a successful cell phone test

Hi,

I just finished installing my new Verizon cell module (2GIG-LTEV1-A-GC2) into my GoControl panel (2GIG-CP21-345E) running firmware version 1.17.0.1.

After waiting over 30 minutes after the cell module installation, I am still not receiving any options around “cell phone test” in the installer toolbox. I did however see a green LED flash on the cell panel, indicating that it is receiving power at the very least.

Please let me know how to proceed!

Happy to help out! This may occur if the panel is not fully powered down when installing the module. When making physical changes to the panel, including installing a new cellular module, you will want to ensure that the unit is powered down completely prior to installation.

At this time please completely power down the panel, transformer first, then internal battery. Wait two minutes then power the panel back up battery first, then transformer. Once fully powered up you should be able to access the cell test option, try running a cell test, any change?
