Can the ts1 keypad be used to communicate with central station via 2 way voice, act as a second microphone ? Say for an upstairs floor in a 2 story house Or is that function only available via the main panel ?

You cannot Install/program from TS1
You cannot use 2way voice communication from TS1
That function is only available on the main panel.
