I have an existing vivint system w/ a go control panel and some zwave items. This was left behind by the previous owner. I want to buy a new cellular module but the panel has a triggered CO alarm that I can’t clear because i don’t have the code. Can I simply swap out the module, or do I need to so something with the alarm first?
Clear existing alarm event with code 2580
First, power down panel, remove cell, power up, disarm with code above.
After panel is disarmed, do the following to obtain/change the master code and any other user codes:
Security>menu>toolbox>enter code 2203>user management
Now…arm, then disarm panel using the Master code. That’s it.
Done.
…and that is how to obtain the codes from a vivint panel, and disarm it…easy peasy.
