This might be a dumb question and I hope it makes sense. I know the ADC Temp Sensor can be used with the thermostat to regulate the ADC thermostat running til all sensors show close to the average temperature but is there a way to use it just to get temperature alerts ie not have a say in how long heating and cooling run just monitoring the temp in a location and sending a push if too high or low? (Example using to monitor a home server closet for high temps but not controlling whether AC is running?) I have a ADC thermostat as i know that is required but just wanted to ask before I purchased one. Thanks for the help and I hope that makes sense
Yes, averaging temps is optional. You manually assign temp sensors to thermostats if you wish for the temperature to be figured in. Otherwise they can just be used for notifications.
