I replaced my garage door opener with a new one. I have a chamberlain myq gateway and two door sensors (for the two doors). I’d like the gateway to learn the new garage door opener, but am not sure how to do this. Please advise
Can you give specific model numbers that you would like to incorporate? Is your Gateway the wifi Hub, Chamberlain MYQ-G0201?
Did you replace the controller for a door that has a MyQ sensor on it already? If so, see instructions. Determine which door you’ve replaced (1 or 2) then program over the replaced door based on the instructions (in the instructions replace “Button 1” with either 1 or 2 depending on which was replaced.) The Chamberlain manual is conspicuously devoid of programming instructions, but the device is otherwise identical to the Liftmaster version.
