To troubleshoot you will want to power down the panel completely, transformer first, then the internal battery.
Leave the unit down for a two full minutes, then power it back up, battery first, then transformer. After it boots back up, any change?

Regarding the cause, there can be a number of reasons why. It could be caused by an interruption of service from the cellular provider in the area, a panel or module malfunction, or insufficient power to the security system itself.
In this case, it is possible that the communication issue was related to a technical issue on Alarm.com’s end, which may have affected the signaling capability.
My other alarm never did do it so most likely either panel or communicator but it won’t be issue for long new provider is replacing system with Iq and Powerg
