I am considering the SP2 or waiting for the SP1 before ordering my system. Does the SP2 screen turn completely off when no activity has been detected for a while? Are there any lights on at all? I would like a secondary panel in the bedroom and don’t want a secondary panel that is always on. Is the SP1 any different regarding the screen after no activity?
I also have a bunch of hard-wired sensors I will hook up to a Take-345. Can I use more than one Take-345 if need be?

The SP2 has no lights when the screen timeout turns off the screen. The SP1 does have the lit emergency/home buttons on the right hand side.
Note that any sensor activity, including motion detectors, will kick on the SP2 screen. I don’t typically recommend placing any panel in the bedroom itself if you are sensitive to the light.
The SP2 does have brightness control however so you can significantly dim the screen if necessary.

Yes, more than one TAKE-345 can be used. Each TAKE-345 supports up to 8 wired zones.
