I got a call about a low battery signal on my panel. I replaced the battery, but the low battery was not resolved and the panel went dead. What could be the problem?
Well first, the easy solutions.
- Verify that your panel transformer is plugged in.
- If it is, check to make sure the receptacle is giving power. Try plugging in a lamp or other device to test.
- If the receptacle is giving no power, verify that it is not controllable via a switch. If that is not the case, check the breaker box to make sure the breaker isn’t tripped.
