Selling our home, turning the system over to the new owners

We are selling our home with a 2GIG panel, that has been monitored by Surety.

What is the proper process for turning the 2GIG panel over to the new owners, so they will have minimal problems getting the existing panel monitored by Surety?

Is it as simple as giving them the Panel Installer code and canceling our Surety Account?

What info will they need to active with you?

Thanks

Accounts are non-transferrable, you would simply cancel your service and the new owners would sign up on our website here.

You can schedule cancellation in the subscription section of your Suretyhome account here.

A new user will need to activate service through our website. To do this, they will need an installer or master code and the panel module’s IMEI. This can be found on the label of the module itself. The module must be 4G or later to activate (yours is, so no worries there).

Generally I would recommend changing the installer and master user code back to default before handing over the system. The default installer code is 1561 and can be changed in the System Manager.

You can change your master user code in Alarm.com under users. The default value is 1111.

Great
Thanks for the quick reply.
