I would like to create a rule that turns on a light every morning at 50% brightness. It’s not obvious to me how to do this - can I control dimming using rules?
Yes, it is not a separate variable when creating a rule, but if you are creating a rule for a dimmer Zwave device, the “Dim” option shows up as a third option under the drop-down menu to Turn On or Off the device. A slider will then show up allowing you to specify lighting level.
