I recently installed a QS5535-840 sensor and was wondering how do I see the temperature of where it’s installed? I didn’t see in the app or online how to do this.
Thanks!

Hello, the QS5535-840 unfortunately does not report the current ambient temperature. It is used to be alerted in extreme temperature scenarios. It has a high and low threshold to generate alerts.
For current ambient temperature instead a different temp sensor is needed. Alarm.com supports the display of the current temperature from a maximum of 2 PG9905 PowerG temp sensors:
Or you could use the Alarm.com ADC-S40-T Z-wave temperature sensor.
Hi Jason,
Is there a way to set the high and low temps remotely? Or is it already programmed with the high and low points?
Thanks
The QS5535-840 thresholds are not configurable. They are a static 40 and 100.
The PG9905 thresholds are configurable.
Okay thanks. Where would I find out if the thresholds are reached. Would it be in the notifications area?
Once the threshold is achieved, a temperature alarm is triggered on the panel, and notifications are sent out based on your alarm notification settings.
If you have professional monitoring enabled, the monitoring center will call the premises and contacts to try to notify someone of the alarm.
