Qolsys ID Panel 4 Replacement/Swap

I have a panel that was installed on 9/11/25. I canceled the contract with the previous monitoring service after only a month. I can’t use the panel with Surety because the IMEI is still showing I have an Alarm.com account and the previous service won’t give the dealer code to reset it. If I buy a new panel from Surety, can I simply plug in the new panel and expect it to work with my current sensors, outdoor camera and doorbell camera?

Your panel needs to be unregistered. Only your current service provider can release it. Having the dealer code will not allow you to release the panel from your end. Even if you Master Reset the panel (factory reset) with the Dealer code, this wont unregister it from that existing Alarm.com account.

In order to connect the panel to service through Surety you need it to be unregistered and you need to be able to run a Cellular Test. You’ll need either the Dealer (default 2222) Installer (default 1111) or Master User (default 1234) in order to run a cellular test to connect.

Once the panel is connected to service through Surety and it is communicating with Alarm.com, commands can be sent to remotely reset the Dealer or Installer code.

No. You would need to reprogram the new panel from scratch. Alarm.com cameras would need to be paired to the new Alarm.com account as well.

You would also need to make sure you obtain the correct IQ Panel 4. There are a few different versions that work with different sensor types. Do you know which IQ Panel 4 you have or what sensor types it works with?
