Hi, I have a PG9933 PowerG CO detector, and it is beeping about once a minute. I think it is indicating low battery. That’s fine, but my panel does not seem aware of this. It doesn’t show me any messages about the fault. Is this expected?
There are a few possible causes of the beeps, you can identify the exact cause by the behavior of the beeps and the LED. See the table below from the guide. If it is beeping once every 45 seconds, is the LED flashing every 6 or every 12 seconds?
Hi Jason, thanks for getting back to me. After 10 minutes of beeping or so, the panel started registering Low Battery for that sensor. I think it just took a bit more time to get the message over to the panel. So I think all is working OK.
Alright, thank you for confirming. If you notice it again you can use the timing of the LED flash to identify the issue.
