Panel Power compatibility

I am replacing my current Vivint SkyPanel with the Qolysy IQ 4 panel. I see in the installation instructions online it has a power supply with a barrel connection. Is it possible to use the existing power in my wall that is powering the Skypanel and also powered a previous panel?
It is already ran through my wall and into my attic and plug into a Vivint power plug.

Never use an alternate power source.

The panel must be powered by the plug-in transformer that comes with it. Each system has its own voltage and current requirements and using the wrong transformer is likely to irreparably damage the panel, let alone not allow it to boot up.

That said, you can usually use existing wiring, you would just need to remove the old power supply and splice the new one to that cabling. It depends on the distance and gauge of the cable used for that old system.

The manual recommends 18AWG cable no longer than 100 feet. Thinner cable has a shorter max distance. Nothing thinner than 22AWG should be used.
