We have a string of lights in our gazebo which is about 200’ from the house. We would like to control this via a smart outlet. I have not tried but will assume ZWave will not reach. We do have a pole barn half way between where we could put a repeater but it seems like 100’ would still be pushing out luck. We do (or will) have wifi at the gazebo if there is a wifi solution.
It is unlikely that the zwave switch would work at that distance. It appears that this post is related to a previous post, found here where one of our techs followed up.
