I’m trying to remove the Ecolink Firefighter from the Zwave device list but there is no option to remove the device. I am trying to add it to a different Zwave hub so I can send phone alerts if it goes off.
Z-wave smoke detectors are not compatible with the system and wouldn’t be listed accurately.
However, removal steps for Z-wave devices are not performed by selecting the device from a list, you would place the panel in exclusion mode and activate the learn button on the device you wish to exclude. Steps are below:
- Locate the Alarm.com module.
- Press and hold the button on the module, and watch the L5 LED.
- Release the button once the L5 LED or flashes in a 4-flash pattern.
- Press and hold the button on the module a second time.
- Release the button once the L5 LED flashes in groups of 2. This is exclusion mode.
- Trigger the device to erase its network data and delete it from the network.
- When a device is deleted successfully, the panel beeps
