New home - legacy wired system

I’m a current surety user but just bought a new house. It has a CPI installed system with legacy wired sensors and some wireless sensors all handled by a 2gig gc2 with a bad touch screen?

Am I able to go with the IQ panel 2? Or what do you recommend? I took pictures of the panel and the CPI box I found in the basement.


It does not look like any wired sensors are in use. There is no TAKE-345 takeover module in the image and it looks like most of the wires have just been cut.

It is likely that the prior owner replaced the sensors with wireless ones, at least the zones they planned to use.

To reuse any existing wired sensors you would need a takeover module which is supported by the panel you choose. I would recommend checking and confirming how many wired sensors there are which do not have a wireless sensor that replaced them on the same door/window.
