We will be getting ready to put our house on the market for sale.

I have two questions.

  1. For showings what is the best way to handle password(s) for when potential buyers and agents will be entering the house? Can you have a temporary one setup for just for showings and my wife and I still use our regular one?

  2. When house is sold if the buyer is interested in continuing service can existing service be transferred to them? Or do I need to cancel and then they sign up?

  1. User code management is easily performed through Alarm.com. Here is a video going over the creation of user codes. You can specifically create a temporary code for use by realtor.

  2. suretyDIY is month-to-month service, so there are no transfers. You can just cancel your account and new owners can order service.
