I installed two new PowerG motion sensors on my iq pro. However in the app they are showing up almost like window sensors and not motion sensors. They are programmed into zone 17 though.
Those two motion detectors I believe you are referring to are not enabled for sensor activity monitoring, which would affect how they are displayed in the app.
To change which sensors are selected for Alarm.com activity monitoring in the Alarm.com website:
- Click Settings.
- Click Manage Devices.
- Click the ellipses . . . next to the device to update.
- Click Device Settings.
- In Monitoring, click to select the checkbox for sensors to be monitored. Alternatively, click to uncheck to remove activity monitoring.
- Click Save.
