Jason, I’ve been scrubbing the I-Net for the IQRemote Secondary Security screen to no avail. This conversation happened this AM:

We can’t fulfill any direct purchases or requests for this. You would have to go through SuretyDIY in order to purchase the parts you need.
Thanks and regards,
Colin

Colin, thank you for your response. I have been working through suretyDIY / Jason. He recommended the IQRemote as the component I need to round out the system I’m purchasing; The New IQRemote is important but hard to find and suretyDIY doesn’t carry it yet. Can you help me. r/ Steve
Jason, The secondary wall mounted touchscreen panel, the newer IQ Remote communicating via our home WiFi, is an imperative, as part of the purchased Qolsys Home Security System. As specified and as recommended by suretyDIY tech support, we need the new IQRemote, not the IQ2.
We have not received any part of the ordered system. Please provide instructions for getting an RMA# to return the Qolsys components upon their arrival. r/ Steve
Unfortunately the IQ Remote is not quite available yet through our distribution as far as I am aware. We are looking into adding it as a product, but I haven’t even touched one yet myself. If you would like to be notified upon its availability in our store I can have the customer service team send an email when it is available.

I suggested the new IQ Remote because you stated you wanted to wall mount. The IQ2 comes with a velcro wall mount option that most have not preferred. The IQ Remote is a better fit, but we do not have it in the store at this time.

There is no RMA # required for returns if that is what you wish. Our returns policy can be found here, along with a link to the return form.
The tracking number for your order would have been included in your welcome email.

My response this date to Qolsys email above:
Quote:
If suretyDIY can facilitate fulfillment of the IQRemote requirement in a timely manner, we are prepared to suspend our request this date for an RMA# for return/refund of expended funds. If they/you are unwilling to fulfill our secondary screen requirement, it’ll be necessary to find another system that will meet our needs.

I can assure you they are on order from our local supplier.
I cannot give a definite time when they will be available for purchase from us, but as above, I can have our team email you to notify you when the IQ Remote will be available for purchase through our website. I’ll let them know that someone is looking to purchase.
Would you like us to email when they become available on our site?
Jason, The IQ Remote is an important piece of equipment to us. In response to your suggestion to notify us when the IQ remote becomes part and parcel to the suretyDIY home security arsenal we’ll cancel efforts to return the Qolsys Panel and Hardware 16 which arrived yesterday and await suretyDIY notification of the availability of the IQRemote: QW9101–840.
I am monitoring the ‘andunn’ thread indicating he has an IQRemote, and hoping a source can be provided.

Jason;
To start our conversion from the wired Honeywell Model: FA148CP Household Fire & Burglary System to the Qolsys Primary IQ Panel QS-9004VRZ (IQPanel-VRZ); with the Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16 (wired to wireless converter); and the Qolsys IQRemote: QW9101–840 secondary panel for Master bedroom, We focused 1) first on getting the Qolsys Hardwire 16 to translate the existing wired zones to wireless. Then 2) focus on bringing up the Qolsys Primary IQ Panel QS-9004VRZ (IQPanel-VRZ) and integrating this main panel with cell, WiFi (Linksys EA6500 dual band wireless access point), and 3) Alarm.com 24/7 monitoring.
All went well except the integration/conversion of the wired sensors to wireless compatibility with the Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16 converter. Interfacing a multitude of wired sensors to the Hardwire 16 is beyond the pale in difficulty. After about 9 hours of careful transfer of wiring from the Honeywell Model: FA148CP to the Hardwire 16, the wired sensors refuse to be recognized. All other aspects of the install went well, even excellent. Bottom line, we’re forced to give up on the Hardwire 16 and return it to surety and go to wireless sensors.
If you decide to return and go wireless, our return policy can be found here. Please include the original packaging and parts.
However, we’d be happy to help if you would like assistance with troubleshooting the Hardwire 16.
One thing that can trip people up during installation is that the Hardwire 16 must learn the resistance of each zone first. There must be a resistance value between 1k-10kohms. (There are 3Kohm resistors included in the package)
We do have a how to video found here.
The translator itself must also be learned into the IQ panel (as a translator)
But of course, if you would prefer wireless, they are, admittedly, much easier to program.
Jason, Do I need to purchase a wireless Siren for the Qolsys IQ wireless system with the IQRemote Secondary Screen. I’ve completed ordering the wireless Door/Windows sensors x17 and the wireless motion detectors x2; am unsure of the local alarm / siren concept. The Hardwire 16 was mailed/returned - UPS on 11 May.
unsure of the local alarm / siren concept
The panels themselves have sounders. Should you need siren announcement in another area, a z-wave siren is the best option.
