I keep getting a low battery message every day. The monitoring company is calling me too. How do I make that go away?
There is a green battery pack inside the panel that needs to be plugged in to the back of the panel before you plug in wall power to the panel. Did you plug that in?
If not, please unplug the transformer from wall power, then plug the battery pack in, then plug the transformer back into wall power. After that it will take a day or so before the battery charges up and the low battery notifications go away.
Or if it is already plugged in, and battery is no good (they should be replaced every three years or so), simply replace it with a 2gig-batt1 or if you have smoke detectors 2gig-batt1x
