Hello I’m curious is there a way siren that can be used outside that wires in the back of the panel without adding an extra power supply I have an order siren wired in the back of my 2gig panel now idk if that will work or not I’m really thinking about upgrading my parents house to the Iq panel
No, you would need to use a separate power supply appropriate for the Siren. The siren output of the IQ Panel 2 does not output voltage, it is a relay switching power from a separate supply.
The IQ Panel 2 uses a 7vdc transformer. Most sirens from old alarm systems would be using 12vdc.
