Could you pass along to Qolsys that the power pins in the IQ Panel 5 are easily bent and broken when attaching and removing the panel from the wall?
I initially used bare wire to the screw terminals on the mounting plate, but the pins bent when securing the panel to the mounting plate. One pin broke off when straightening.
Thankfully there is an alternative power connection. I cut and hardwired the barrel connector to my bare wires with wire nuts, and now use that to power the IQ Panel 5.
They may want to alter this power design in future revisions/versions. This alignment should not be so critical with such fragile pins.
