IQ Panel 4: Siren silenced immediately? (before entering user code)

While testing the system, I noticed that the alarm siren automatically silenced after 15 seconds, even with the screen showing the red ALARM screen. I had not yet entered my user code.

Later I tried reducing the Dialer Delay from 15s to “0” (after unchecking “SIA Limits”), and upon testing, found that the alarm siren silenced almost immediately (again, pre-user-code).

I did notice a small icon at the bottom of the screen which indicated “SIREN SILENCED”.

Shouldn’t the siren continue to blare, until the user code is entered and accepted?

I believe it’s either one of 2 things might need to change panel siren time in settings to longer or it also does this when 2 way voice is trying to connect

This is normal with 2-way voice. The siren must shut off for two way voice calls, it will start back up after completion if the system is not disarmed.

This makes a lot of sense- I did enable 2-way voice, but didn’t make the connection with the siren behavior.
