Hi! Hoping you can help me with some camera issues here:
Deleted one of my 2GIG-HD100 cameras, to make room for a new ADC-V722W, installed, camera was “stuck” on upgrade screen for 2 hours. I reset camera, it cycles thru correctly , but when I try to add it, I get error message that I’ve exceeded my camera allotment. THanks for your time!
Happy to help! I have seen that happen before. When you say “reset” do you mean just unplug power and plug it back in? Or do you mean a full factory default reset?
The reason it says you have reached your limit is because Alarm.com counts the camera you are currently installing. You’re on the add camera page so it’s telling you that you can’t add another camera.
I’m going to try to upgrade the firmware manually so please don’t unplug it for 15 min or so. Thanks!

Thanks so much, I am up and running! Just for the posterity of the thread, to answer you questions:
-I did first “uninstall”/ delete the camera I was replacing. I did check to see that there were 7 cameras, leaving 1 slot open.
-When I “reset” I pushed the WPS button until red/green blinking.
