I have an outdoor PowerG sensor that I setup, but since it’s outdoor, I don’t want it to trigger any alarm. I do want the status reporting. Is there a way to set it up so it is informational only? Thanks.
Yes, when programming the sensor, for the Sensor Group field select Group 25 Local Safety Sensor.
This type of zone can be used for activity monitoring in ADC for notifications and automation rules, and can chime at the panel, but will never cause an alarm.
