Help Automating Z-Wave Devices with Sensor Activity

Under emPower > Rules > Add a Rule > section “When this eent occurs”, I cannot get the “Sensor Activity” option to show up.

I did first enable a sensor’s Activity Monitoring under Security I also logged off and back on to Alarm.com afterwards.

What exactly are you seeking to automate?

You can only create an Event Triggered Rule off of Sensor Activity if the automated device is going to be Lights. You cannot automate your locks or panel off of sensor activity.

Is this why the “Sensor Activity” option does not show up?
Because I don’t have any ZWave lights yet?

Correct. It will not be visible as an option unless a light is connected to the system.
