Hardwire 16

Hi,

I currently have the Qolsys IQ 2.0 panel and was wondering if I can use the IQ Hardwire 16 with it. My current company told me that I can’t but I find this hard to believe. My old control box is a DSC PC1616. Although I don’t think it makes a difference which box I have since the Hardwire 16 is replacing it. Can you please verify it should work with my system before I order it.

Yes, we’re told the Hardwire 16 will work just fine with the IQ Panel 2. It is compatible with the same sensors as the original IQ panel, but not the IQ remote secondary keypad. A new model of secondary keypad will be released for it.
