I have the Qolsys IQ Panel 2+ and the Hardwire 16. The video online shows the resistors going on the black wires when wiring the Hardware 16. The paperwork has a photo of the resistor on the red wire. Which is the proper way?

The resistors on the sensor circuits are wired in series and it does not matter on which side they are placed. They can be attached to either wire at the translator or end of line at the sensor.
