I purchased GE Z-Wave Receptacle to add to my QOLSYS network because i have reached the 30 “Light” maximum limit in QOLSYS. I went to add it to the QOLSYS Home Device network and it detected it as another “Light” and not a “Smart Socket”. Therefore, I couldnt add it to the network. Why is this being seen as a light and not a Smart Socket?
It is not a Smart Socket. A Smart Socket is, I believe, specifically this. A Z-wave receptacle is likely going to show as a switch as they use the binary switch command class.
