EOL resistors installation with IQ Hardwire 16-F

I am getting ready to update my old wired security system, using an IQ Hardwire 16-F unit, and I am wondering about the best way to install the required resistors for the sensors. Since all wired sensors are already in place in generally hard-to-reach areas, the most practical solution is to put the resistors near the unit. For the door/window NC sensors, I could just solder one end of the resistor in series with the sensor’s positive wire and then connect the other end of the resistor to the + screw terminal of a zone of the unit (the negative wire going directly to the associated - screw terminal), but maybe there is a cleaner way to do it and would like to hear some ideas on how to best install these resistors. Thanks

That’s the most common way to do it. With solder or with gel filled B wire crimp connectors.
For better security the resistor should go in the wall but that’s not usually a feasible option in a finished home.

Great. Thanks
