I just had to replace the 3V lithium battery in this detector with less than one year of use. That’s an expensive detector at $11.50/year! Has anyone else had this issue, or did I get a bad battery? Purchased from suretydiy.
Possibly was packaged with an older/bad battery.
The stated battery life is 5 years, and since they were only available since 2014, I’ve never had to replace one yet, myself.
Did you test the voltage on the old battery?
