Create Rule for Camera

Greetings All
Using CPI/Alarm.com and have an inside camera. I would like to be able to create a rule in which the camera is activated only when my system is armed.
Is this possible?

Thanks and Happy Easter

Note that this is a technical support forum for suretyDIY, an Alarm.com service provider. We are always happy to help with questions, but we cannot confirm what features you have access to if you use another service provider.

That said, if you do have access to Cloud Video and recording schedules, you can navigate to Video - Recording Schedules - Add a Schedule. Select Arming or Disarming. This lets you create recording schedules for whenever the system is armed stay, armed away, or disarmed, your choice.

If you instead mean you want Video Motion Detection to trigger only while the system is in an armed state, (using arming as a variable instead of the trigger) yes, simply edit (or create) any VMD schedule and click the checkbox next to “Do not record while the system is disarmed”

Thanks Jadon. Pretty simple, once you pointed me in the right direction.
