Each time I reboot the control panel, it is generating a console tamper notification. Is that normal? I have to keypads in addition to the control panel. How can I tell which is even generating the tamper signal in the first place?
If the back-plate is not connected to the 2GIG panel, that would cause a tamper. Do you have the back-plate attached?
It is attached - is there a special connection / cable that needs to be in place?
Tamper switch is up near the set screw on the inside of the panel. A small piece of plastic protruding from the back-plate depresses the tamper switch.
The switch has a small translucent white plastic cover.
Can you verify that the plastic cover is on the switch and the tab is not broken on the back-plate?
