Configuring a Qolsys S-Line Hardwire 16

Auto learn didn’t work. I’m not home but I just received an alert that the Hardwire is offline again. App reporting failure again.

Keep in mind Auto-Learn would require the manually added zone to be removed from the panel first.

If you are still seeing an issue it may be necessary to reset the memory on the Hardwire, delete the zones from the Qolsys panel, and re-learn the zones from scratch, starting with the translator zone itself.

Instructions from the manual regarding reset:

How to Clear the Memory: Power down the unit by unplugging the battery leads and the power supply. Hold down “Memory Reset” for 3 seconds while re-applying power to the device. Processor, RF Xmit and EOL Cal LED’s will begin to flash indicating that the module has been reset

After resetting, delete the zones in the panel. Start relearning zones and add the translator supervision zone first by using the jumper on the tamper terminals.
