I want to purchase the 2Gig GD00Z-5 to add Z-Wave control to my garage door. I would like to add a rule to send a close garage door command whenever my 2Gig GC2 panel is set to armed. Will this work? Thanks.
Yes, that is an option for automation rules if you have a garage device.
Note that the opposite is not true. You can automate your garage based on arming/disarming, but you cannot automate arming/disarming based on garage control.
