Cannot activate

Qolsys IQ2, just received today. I cannot activate. I can get to the screen the says “Checking System, Waiting for central station response. Please wait…” followed by “Cellular radio test timed out. Please try again later. For new installs, please verify an account has been created. Your panel could not connect to the closest cellular tower. Please check that your account has been created…”

I have Verizon service at my house with 2 bars. It’s not a lot, but it works fine.

Any suggestions?

Your account has been created. It’s waiting for your panel to send a cell phone test signal. Have you tried running a cell phone test on the IQ Panel?

If the cell test fails, reboot the panel and try again. It’s usually very quick but on occasion it takes 15-30 minutes before a new panel will start talking to Alarm.com.
