I have cameras mounted about 60 feet apart on opposite sides of my patio and they monitor a similar area at the middle of the patio. I can see live images on both cameras. However, the north video camera is not recording motion that the south video camera sees and records. How would I troubleshoot the failure of the north camera to record obvious motion. I have tweaked zones and desensitized, etc. etc.
If a rule is not triggering at all, the first step I would try is power cycle the camera. Wait about 5 minutes after boot up and test motion. Any change?
If not, delete the recording rule for that camera, wait 5 minutes, then recreate the rule. Any change?
